The Western Australian Railways Institute Inc. (WARI) operates under a set of by-laws strictly outlined in our Constitution.
Our Annual General Meeting is held each year combined with a social evening, where a re-cap of the year’s events and the Annual Report is presented to all members in attendance.

Sports, Recreation and Development Fund Guidelines (SPIRIT)
WARI operates the Sports, Recreation and Development Fund which conducts the SPIRIT Prize Draw with the active participation of members, adhering to the following guidelines:
The SPIRIT Prize Draw is administered with cooperation from independent auditors.
Annual General Meeting
The Western Australian Railways Institute Inc. 2026 Annual General Meeting (129) will be held on Friday, 30 October 2026 at 4.30pm at The Public Transport Centre, 116 West Parade, East Perth.
Members are invited to celebrate our achievements, discuss business growth, and share exciting plans for future projects and expansion.
Additionally, Members will:
- Hear about WARI's progress and vision
- Meet the new WARI Council Members and line up
- Contribute any ideas and feedback
- Connect with fellow members and strengthen the WARI Community
After the meeting, a small social will occur, where Members can stay and enjoy a relaxed social gathering—catch up with old friends and make new acquaintances over refreshments.
